Key Results

• •Before national exams, the student have stable connection, prepared and ready to battle.
• •Reliable Connection, from August 2019, up until now (as of 2025). the baseline networking system is built on my backbone. including the router, switch & hotspot config.
• •ICT is fully configured with deep freeze, if student does nasty things, just restart it and it will back to normal
• •ICT PC is optimized with custom configuration, allowing for better performance under so-so pc spec.
• •ICT PC is integrated with the Windows Server
• •ICT PC is Nation Exam ready. both server and client have been configured to be able to ran the test smoothly
• •All Rendezvous zone point is covered with hotspot
• •Network is configured with security in mind.

Challenge

The school is still new, so infrastructure is one of the thing that needs to mature. to accomodate both student and teacher better. Infrastructure upgrade is needed. they have Computer Lab, with practically no LAN connection, and the hotspot access is pretty far away, (in the middle of the building). this causes very slow connection.

Solution

1 Month in, I Proposed to upgrade their existing infrastructure. such as: introduce a wired LAN connection within the building to cover all the hotspot. e.g class, smartboard, and other meeting places. Extend hotspot/access point to cover more spots within the building, and make sure the ICT is wired up.
